2022 BRBC Reflections

What a privilege to ride with a bunch of special people, all champion’s, all with their own personal experience dealing with Brain Cancer. What an awesome charity and Robyn, what a difference you are making, we all love you and what you have achieved.

Ride the Highlands', Bike Ride for Brain Cancer ride for 2022 is Done and Dusted and Smashed the target!

The Ride the Highlands fundraising for Brain Cancer Collective has smashed the original target of $20,000 - total now at $26,338.

I'm speechless, thanks so much.

Photos being loaded now, will be up very soon

I'm very pleased to be able to announce that early this morning we smashed through my first goal for this year’s fundraising target of $5,000

             You guys are AWESOME, thankyou

With so many shocking events locally, nationally and globally, it is very hard to find something to make us smile.  Well, I can tell you, I’m grinning from ear to ear just knowing that so many people care about others, THANKYOU.

Attention All Strava Followers - Only 1 Week Left - Hurry It's Not Too Late

Dear 281 Strava Followers,

I feel very privileged to know all of you and Strava helps me put a name to a face.  We probably met on a ride, had a chat, and enjoyed this beautiful part of the world we cycle through.

I’m told that I spend too much time on Strava however, it is good for my brain as I look at your latest ride, then I can think back to when we last rode and start planning my next ride.

Next Saturday’s Bike Ride for Brain Cancer ride is also very important to me, raising awareness of the urgent need to find a cure for brain cancer.

Please help me reach my target of $5,000. My total raised is almost $2,700 so let's do the maths - it will only take $10 each! ($2,700 + $2,800 = $5,500).

Thanks so much for your support,
Cheers Ross

Anonymous - Love Your Work

Thanks Anonymous for keeping the total ticking along.  Every dollar counts.

**** Important Correction Needed ****

In my haste to get Saturday’s video loaded, I have made an error in the facts.
I said that "Brain Cancer kills more children than all other diseases combined".

What I should have said is
"Brain Cancer kills more children and people under 40 than

We desperately need to keep funding research, to find a cure for this insidious disease.

In just a few short years, donations to the Bike Ride for Brain Cancer have enabled Brain Cancer Biobanking Australia (BCBA) to do the impossible, establishing the first tissue register in the world.  Your on-going support will enable the BCBA to continue to improve the outcomes for Brain Cancer patients.

Today we desperately need major breakthroughs in brain cancer. It remains one of the most devastating cancers and is one of the most under researched of all the cancer groups.

Please join me on the road to a cure by donating to drive brain cancer research forward.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and a receipt will be emailed to you.

My Brain Cancer Story
