May is Brain cancer awareness month. Brain cancer is a devastating illness. Survival rates haven't changed in over 30 years and there's still no cure!
At 28 I was diagnosed with an Ependymoma the size of a mandarin. After undergoing a 6 and a halt hour surgery and 8 weeks of intense treatment I can happily say I am 9 months in remission.
I was lucky enough to come out the other side of this horrible illness but other people aren't as lucky as me!
